The next scheduled meeting of Grey County ARES is Wednesday, February 10th, 7 p.m., at the United Way Office, 380 9th Street E., in Owen Sound. This is the blue building on the corner, just east of the post office and across the street from Knox United Church.
Brad, VE3RHJ will give a presentation on "Electronic Design Automation for Hobbyists." Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) software for circuit schematics and for printed-circuit-board layout is now available at no cost. Brad will demonstrate how the open-source package KiCad is used to design a circuit board.
